La habitación muy amplia, excelente ducha, el personal es súper amable y en la mejor ubicación de Rapallo.

El desayuno considerando un costo de 300 euros la noche. Poca variedad, y lo poco que había no era de la mejor calidad.

El desayuno excelente, nos dieron una habitacion de mayor valor porque habia disponibilidad. Con vista a la bahia. un lugar de ensueño. En cuanto al personal la mayor predisposicion, me ayudaron con un problema personal que tenia que resolver. Lo hicieron con toda la paciencia. El pueblo hermoso, es para recorrelo con tranquilidad. Mas alla de la costa. Hay que recorrer las callecitas.

Great location (even though it is a shame that the front courtyard is used as a parking lot despite the extensive and frankly ugly large parking standing between the hotel and the seafront). Staff extremely friendly and professional, always smiling and happy to help. Rooms quiet and very clean.

The rooms are extremely small and quite outdated for a 4 star hotel. General decor in need of an upgrade

Pefect location, wonderful view from the room, good breakfast and wellness facilities. You have to book in advance and pay for it, but it is privet and relaxing, nobody disturbs you. Very helpful, kind, and professional manager and staff. Although it was out of season, we really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Lovely little hotel in an interesting building. In a great position overlooking the port and near a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Friendly staff and spacious room with a traditional feel. Rapello makes a good base for a few days.

This is one of those hidden gems that you unexpectedly come across during the travel. The hotel is reasonably priced for its 4-star rating. The location cannot be better, right at the main waterfront promenade, around the corner from Rapallo's historic center and train station, easy to reach by the car. The hotel has a private parking that can be reserved ahead of your arrival. Rooms are large and well appointed. We had access to the private terrace and excellent seaside view. Special thank you to the staff. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, including unexpected convenience of valet parking, where you can just drive your car to the entrance, and someone will help you and move your car into a European-small dedicated parking spot. Ought to mention explicitly one of the hostess - Elina. She really made our stay in Astoria super-special with her sincere - "I am your friendly hostess" attitude, more of a good friend than just a welcoming hotel employee. Welcome aperitif served at the private terrace, help with navigating Rapallo and surrounding area, great advises about our side-trips to Portofino and Cinque Terra - just to name a few... Highly recommend Astoria as your future hub while exploring Liguria, and will definitely stay there on all of our trips there.

Location

What is not to like?! The property is one of 5 beautiful similar buildings on a wonderful street and location in Rapallo. Excellent base to explore local gems like Santa Margherita Ligure, Recco, and Camogli. Perfect location for everything, including the ferry and the local market along the street on certain days. We got lucky to experience the chocolate festival as well! The room was spacious with a great bathroom and the room had a perfect view right out to the water/beach/sunset. The breakfast is by far the best breakfast we have had at a non-brand name hotel in Europe! And as if it couldn't be any better, then there's the STAFF! Sara started us off on such a positive note with her very helpful and friendly emails prior to arrival, then to meet her in person was the icing on the cake. She is such a lovely caring person and she made us feel like family. She gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. Elina greeted us also on arrival and when she found out we needed to check in quickly to make the ferry to Portofino (last one of the season), she immediately got us checked in quickly and then went out the door with us to show us exactly where to meet the ferry! And Greta. She is amazing and so friendly and incredibly helpful! We saw her often because she was working a lot, and she always greeted us like we were her brothers and with a big smile on her face. She helped with our requests and even created a small box to help us mail a package while there. All 3 of them helped us greatly while retrieving one of our pieces of luggage that was delayed and then had it placed in the room once it arrived. Needless to say, we loved our 6 days at this property and would come back in a heartbeat! Congrats on a winning place in every aspect and your staff are the best assets of all!

Location and room, awesome breakfast

The staff were very friendly and always ready to assist you and answer any questions. The location to shops and restaurants was very good.
